Outdoors
At Happy Days Too we have an established culture of outdoor learning. We ensure that children have daily opportunities to explore the natural environment and have time and space to play together.

We recognise the importance of outdoor play in promoting a healthy lifestyle and to create a true sense of well-being. The children experience the wonders of nature and the changing seasons at first hand in out large garden and outdoor areas.
Outdoor play is an important part of learning to assess risk, build resilience as well as physical development.
At Happy Days Too we are fortunate that all rooms have direct access to our varied outdoor areas. This facilitates the ability of children to free flow between indoors and outdoors as much as possible.
Our all-weather garden is used by our sports coach and is an excellent area for children to develop their gross motor skills.
We include outdoor water play in both 3-5 gardens and have our own mud kitchen. At the very rear of the garden is a small wooded section which is currently being developed to enhance the children’s experiences outdoor.
We also have our own access to Busby Glen where the children can experience woodland walks and nature hunts.
